Orange is the IT color this season. You've seen it everywhere from outerwear, to swimwear, to accessories, and makeup. Although the color is bright, the citrus tone gives a "fresh" feeling to any look.
IN FASHION: My tip for incorporating this vibrant color into your look is to not go with head to toe orange like a pumpkin ;-) but wear an orange top or jacket with your closet neutrals such as white, grays, and navy. You can also just paint your nails in this fun hue just to test out this color subtly, and just wait for the compliments to start rolling in, ad they certainly will.
IN DESIGN: Orange is a bold color so using it sparingly might work for most people. Design oraange around muted tones for a pop of color, or add it to a large wall to use as a focal point. Accessorize with orange anyway you like - in lamps, chairs and curtains. Throw some pillows with orange in different textures to bring an interest to the space. Use complimentary colors in blue to add to your orange space for a more put together look.
Warm up white walls with with a bold mix of bright and deep colors or introduce colors with fabric for a look thats subtle yry fetching.
