Studio apartments or efficiences as they are sometimes referred to, are very unique in that there are no separations between the living space and the bedroom.  Sometimes, some of them will separate the kitchen and bathrooms  - giving you a better layout.

There are a few key elements to creating the perfect studio apartment space. Create a layered and curated space by adding tons of elements and decor pieces filled with personality.

Add additional seating by adding either a chaise or a linen chair as a warm accent to the space.

Tuxedo style sofa will work best in this area because it is streamlined but it also lends itself to be light and airy.

The dresser in the living room is quite a big piece and might be possibly strange addition but in a studio apartment where storage is key, a dresser is perfect because of all the drawers and uses of storage. The surface of the dresser is a great spot to add personal objects as well as using it for a TV stand. The best part is the homeowner can interchange these things for different seasons or when the mood strikes to make the space look different, The layering gives the space a lot of character.

The center of the room would work best with a lucite clear coffee table that seems to not take any space up at all.

Most studio apartments are really open so using your imagination to create two separate areas is key. You can create a separation using  a detailed bookshelf but adding few pieces that can bring light into the space but adding a unique level of privacy too.

A poster bed is a big size but using the vertical space gives the area an illusion that the bed is its own space. Add texure and color on the bed with personality in pillows and comforters adding to the layered look of the whole apartment.
